BOSKA & Justdiggit in Singida, Tanzania
In partnership with Justdiggit, we support the restoration of degraded land in Singida, Tanzania. In addition to digging bunds and encouraging natural regrowth (Kisiki Hai), about 800 "Champion Farmers" are trained to reach nearly 200 villages. These farmers teach their peers to green their lands, bringing back millions of trees and improving drought resistance, food production, and income. With film caravans and an SMS service, Justdiggit inspires even more farmers to sustainably restore their land.
