Ingredients (as a snack for 4 persons)
- 6.17 oz. (175 g) Monterey Jack, grated
- 6.17 oz. (175 g) Aged Cheddar Cheese, grated
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 garlic clove
- 8.45 fl. oz. (2.5 dl) white wine
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp Kirsch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
For dipping
- Mini pretzels
- Tortilla chips
Materials
- BOSKA fondue set
- BOSKA serving board
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix together the cheese and cornstarch. This will prevent the cornstarch from clumping. Rub the fondue pot with a garlic clove, pour in the wine and heat. When it is about to boil (do not allow the wine to boil), lower the heat and gradually add the cheese.
- Stir continuously with a wooden spoon. Season to taste with a dash of nutmeg and a little salt and pepper. Add the Kirsch and lemon juice. Serve with the mini pretzels and tortilla chips on a serving board. Enjoy!
