June 21, 2022, Bodegraven - BOSKA is once again the proud winner of an international Design Award. This time, the two Oslo+ pizza knives won prizes and were awarded the iF Design Award; a prize for outstanding design and its relevance to both business and everyday life. This makes it one of the most important quality seals in the world.
Stylish design and excellent quality in one
The two pizza knives from the Oslo+ collection stand out for their unique design. Using high-quality European oak and stainless steel, the knives are extremely strong, sharp and stylish. The stainless steel extends into the handle. This provides additional stability and increases ease of use. The Pizza Wheel Oslo+ – unlike most other pizza wheels – therefore won't wobble while cutting. The Pizza & Cheese Knife Oslo+ also has a diamond pattern that ensures less resistance. With this knife, in the design of a Dutch Cheese knife, you easily and safely cut through any pizza crust in a rocking motion using two hands.
This is how the knives were evaluated
A record 10,776 products and projects were registered for this year's iF Design Awards. From all these entries, BOSKA emerged as one of the winners in the Household/Tableware category. During the finals, a panel of judges evaluated the entries on a number of aspects: idea, form, function, difference and influence. The final score determined the winners. BOSKA scored high primarily on form and function with the pizza knives.
